I have kept putting off getting my master's degree, either because I didn't know what I wanted to get my master's in, it was too expensive, I didn't want to an online program, etc. When I got the job here at Colegio Americano, I found out about the master's program that they offered and I knew that I wanted to jump on this opportunity. The school offers a master's program that is nine courses long. Each course is roughly two weeks, intense. We have class every evening after school for two weeks and for two Saturdays, all day. I will take four classes this year and five classes next year and then I will have my master's degree. It is through Framingham University in Massachusetts and they provide professors onsite for the two week courses. I really like the set up of it even though it's a little intense for two weeks. We had our first class back in November, which was a Special Education in the General Education classroom. It was fun and I also got to know some of the other teachers that I might not have known otherwise. The last night of class, we went out to eat and out for some drinks with our professor. He was kind of an old guy, but a lot of fun. He sure knew his stuff and made us laugh! Here is a pic of me with a few fellow teachers and Prof Bill!!!
