I had my first experience at the supermarket today. WOW, was it awesome!!!! And no, that was not a sarcastic awesome either! I was so impressed by the amount of things there. I guess I was used to and expecting something similar to what we had in Korea. It was hard to find a lot of things in Korea. We did not have large supermarkets, but this one was huge! I got a few things there, but will wait to do most of my shopping once I get settled into an apartment. (I will find out tomorrow morning if I am going to get it or not!) I did get some basic things and snack foods there just to have around the hotel. I found microwave popcorn and Doritos and Diet Coke and muffins and pretty much anything I could have wanted! I am really excited about those possibilities for cooking, etc. TV here is pretty good. You can usually find several familiar shows or movies on but it is hit or miss if it is in Spanish or English! I have watched Who's the Boss and Growing Pains both in Spanish! ha ha. But I have also watched Friends, Ugly Betty, and the Ellen DeGeneres show in English! You can usually find about 4-5 soccer (futbol) games on at any given time to choose from. We have several familiar looking stations (Nickelodean, A & E, Fox, ESPN, WB, Cartoon Network, Disney, Discovery, National Geographic, Travel Channel, Animal Planet, Fox Sports, Cinemax) but the majority of them are dubbed over in Spanish! So they are English shows and Americans on there but with a strange voice coming out of their mouths! The breakfast is included in our hotel so we had breakfast for the first time this morning here. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette, which said on the menu that it came with bread. The toast came first and then when my omelette came out, it was served with a side of black beans! It was funny. They were really good but just a funny side (to me) to come with my omelette for breakfast! Just another reason for the name of this blog! :) I am going to take it easy this afternoon and just hang out here at the hotel. I want to continue to get unpacked and organized a little bit and just relax while I can! I hope you are all enjoying the humidity where I know most of you live.......the weather here is AMAZING!!! I think it is pretty much the same year round. There is NO humidity here and sometimes we have about an hour of rain in the late afternoon or evening, but other than that, temperatures in the 70's or low 80's and beautiful!!! I am loving every minute of it! Happy Sunday!

I knew you wouldn't venture out too far from your comfort zone as far as your taste buds are concerned! So much for the bean diet! Oh, well at least you're happy and not hungry. Check out my new template when you get a chance. Love to you.
