Tortillas and Beans Debut!

Well, here I am, about to embark on a new adventure for the next two years of my life! Those of you "faithful" (ha ha) readers know that I have accepted a job to be the seventh grade math teacher at the American School of Guatemala. I am leaving manana.......for those of you non-Spanish speakers, that is TOMORROW!!! Yes, I really am! It's hard for me to believe as well. I am very excited to be traveling within the same time zone and also to be arriving at my destination about six hours after I take off! For some of you, that may seem like no big deal.....to me, it's HUGE!!! I am really excited. I have none of the nervous or anxious feelings that I had going to Korea, but it is just a whole whole lot of excitement going on in my brain right now!! I am almost packed.....no winter clothes needed. So here goes.....thanks for joining me on another new adventure and I hope you enjoy the ride! Salud to Guatemala!
