Swine Flu?

There have been a few cases of swine flu here in Guatemala. Not much of a hype about it, but you hear about it now and then. Well, one of the other international schools here had a case of swine flu with one of their students so they shut down. I'm not sure how many days they had left but today was the first day they were closed. Today my principal came and told us all that there might be a case at our school and if so we might have to close early. (Thursday June 11 is our last day anyway, only FOUR days left!!!) He said, if you have anything in your classroom that you want for the summer, it might be a good decision to take it home this weekend. So I got everything off my hard drive of the computer in my classroom, two textbooks, and headed out, not knowing if I will see my students again before August or if I will be back at school Monday or not! Probably so, but it's still kind of fun to think about! I am actually selfishly hoping that school will get canceled and I could get to go home a few days earlier than planned. I would love to get to head home a week early! :) I am trying not to really think about it much because I honestly don't think it will happen. I will let you know! Or I might just show up in Missouri a week early!
